The Evercore Silicon Valley Golf Challenge
The Evercore Silicon Valley Golf Challenge presents amateur golfers the feeling of being a world-class golf professional for the day, judged by the same measurements of success and failure. Participants will compete for significant prize money while battling nerves in front of a television audience, peers and spectators.
As giving is personal, each winning team is given the right to direct challenge monies won to a charity of choice.
THE CHALLENGE
The Evercore Silicon Valley Golf Challenge is a unique invitational golf event that allows amateur golfers the chance to feel what it is like to be a pro golfer for the day, playing for a $125,000 prize purse for charities of choice. The competition is monitored by NCGA officials, television cameras catch all the heroics and disappointments of the Shoot Out, friends and colleagues watch play for added pressure, and a 1-hour televised program airs following the tournament highlighting all the action.
This year's Challenge will be on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Stanford Golf Course.
